Maxwell’s experience and expertise spans multiple industries beyond her artistic career. In 2020, Maxwell pivoted from performing full-time and spent four years as Executive Director of High Line Nine Galleries for the global real estate firm, Related Companies. She oversaw all business operations, managed the six-figure budget and advised Related on major art acquisitions and strategic partnerships, including with Steinway, Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, SPHINX, Young People’s Chorus, Project Healthy Minds and more.

Today, she continues to advise companies on client cultivation and strategic partnerships, fostering collaboration between the arts and the corporate world. She is also a sought-after speaker, moderator and Master of Ceremonies. Her clients include J.P. Morgan, Suntory, Mikimoto, Pomellato, Mitsui Fudosan, Festival Napa Valley, Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Shikohin. SPEAKING
While a student at University of Michigan, Maxwell founded “Music at Mott”, a University-sanctioned music therapy mentorship program for children battling cancer at Mott Children’s Hospital. She continued this work in New York City, leading music and art therapy sessions for pediatric oncology patients in underserved neighborhoods through the nonprofit, RipRap. She continues to work with children of all ages in various capacities, from concerts for kids to talk-backs with schools to guest lecturing for New York University, Columbia Business School’s Alumni Association and more. Maxwell also worked closely with Mariachi Vargas Extravaganza, coaching students of all ages and backgrounds on stage presence, confidence and performance skills.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
Additionally, Maxwell has been an active public advocate for survivors of sexual assault through speaking engagements, including an address at the New York State Supreme Court and an interview with NY1, as part of her work for this deeply personal cause. She is a strong believer in beauty out of brokenness, light out of darkness, and redemption—something she infuses into all of her work on and off stage and believes the world needs much more of.
