“[Maxwell is] the standout. Her voice is pure and full of emotional depth whenever she sings. Her emotional journey … was believable and realistic.”

-Broadway World

Maxwell has performed as a soloist with members of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra and the New York Philharmonic, and as a headlining soloist with Festival Napa Valley, Santa Barbara Symphony, Festival of the Arts BOCA, Michigan Pops Orchestra, Northwest Florida Symphony Orchestra, New Jersey Festival Orchestra and more.

Maxwell believes deeply in the importance of cultural diplomacy and frequently performs overseas, headlining sold out concerts in Italy, France, Japan and China, and performing at the United Nations 67th annual Commission on the Status of Women.  She recently made her Lincoln Center debut as a soloist in David Geffen Hall, singing in both Mandarin and in English to standing ovations. She then made her China performance debut with concerts in Beijing and Shanghai, including at the US Embassy in Beijing. Maxwell frequently performs in Japan as a headliner with Classical Music Collection Japan, including a sold-out performance at Nishi Hongwanji Temple, the first performance ever allowed at the UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Maxwell has a chameleon-like voice, with both a bright coloratura and a rich and powerful lower register.  She performs classics from Leonard Bernstein’s “Glitter and Be Gay” to Harold Arlen’s “Stormy Weather”.  She sings opera, Broadway, pop, jazz, country, bluegrass and sacred music.
