Christina Maxwell is a New York City-based award-winning singer, master of ceremonies, and auctioneer: a master of the stage.

Maxwell has performed globally as a soloist in engagements with Lincoln Center, the United Nations, Festival Napa Valley, members of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra and New York Philharmonic and more.  She has headlined sold-out concerts in Italy, France, China and Japan in venues including the US Embassy in Beijing, China and Nishi Hongwanji Temple in Kyoto, Japan, performing the first-ever concert allowed in the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Her performances have featured collaborations with luxury brands including Dolce & Gabbana, Naeem Khan, Mikimoto, Bulgari and Pomellato.  On screen and in print, Maxwell has starred in advertising campaigns for clients including Olay, Nissan, Emrosi and Humira.

In 2020, Maxwell took a four-year break from performing full-time and became Executive Director of High Line Nine Galleries for the global real estate firm, Related Companies.  She oversaw all business operations, managed the seven-figure budget and advised Related on major art acquisitions and strategic partnerships.  Maxwell then took those skills to the stage as auctioneer.  At her very first auction, her negotiating skills, biting wit, competitive nature and heart for change-making philanthropy led her to triple her client’s fundraising goal.

Additionally, Maxwell’s sophistication, intelligence and global appeal have distinguished her as a prominent speaker and master of ceremonies. She uses the same skills to advise companies on fostering collaboration between the arts and the corporate world.  Her clients include J.P. Morgan, Suntory, Mikimoto, Pomellato, Mitsui Fudosan, Festival Napa Valley and Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Her work both on and off the stage has been featured in the New York Post, Business Wire, Entertainment Tonight, Haute Living magazine, Broadway World, and in a number of television and radio appearances.

Maxwell lives and works from a belief in the power of art and music to inspire all audiences. While a student at University of Michigan, Maxwell founded “Music at Mott”, a University-sanctioned music therapy mentorship program for children battling cancer at Mott Children’s Hospital.  She continued this work in New York City, leading music and art therapy sessions for pediatric oncology patients in underserved neighborhoods through the nonprofit, RipRap. She continues to work with children of all ages in various capacities, from concerts for kids to talk-backs with schools to guest lecturing for New York University, Columbia Business School’s Alumni Association and more.

Maxwell was named “Distinguished Young Woman of America” in 2012, which recognized her excellence in scholastics, leadership and talent.  Maxwell is a summa cum laude graduate of University of Michigan’s acclaimed Musical Theatre program, where she also minored in writing.  She received the “Alan Eisenberg Actors Equity Association Award”, awarded to one graduating senior with outstanding talent and career potential.  Maxwell is also a Council Leader for U.S.-Japan Council.
